كرة القدم، الصداقة وروح الفريق: مشروع ريال مدريد الرياضي في مدارس الاونروا

منذ عام 2012، نفذت الأونروا مشروع رياـل مدريد الرياضي لكرة القدم في عدة مدارس للأونروا في مختلف أنحاء قطاع غزة، يعتبر مشروع رياـل مشروع إجتماعي ورياضي تعليمي يهدف إلى تحسين مهارات اللاجئين الأطفال الرياضية ومهارات روح الفريق، حيث يوفر المشروع مساحة آمنة للأنشطة الترفيهية.
وقال منسق مشاريع الرياضة في برنامج التعليم في الأونروا جمال نتيل "إن هدفنا هو تعزيز التفاعل الإجتماعي بين الأطفال من خلال الرياضة وتوفير الفرص لملئ أوقات فراغهم وإيجاد صداقات جديدة". يشارك الطالب يوسف صافي - البالغ من العمر 13 عام – من مدرسة خانيونس الإعدادية للبنين (جـ) في جنوب قطاع غزة منذ عام في مشروع ريال مدريد، وبجانب استمتاعه بالتمرين مرتين اسبوعياً يقوم بلعب كرة القدم خارج المدرسة في ملعب بالقرب من مخيم خانيونس للاجئين.
وقال يوسف "أريد أن أصبح لاعباً مشهوراً في المستقبل، وأريد أن ألعب ضمن فريق، أحب المشاركة في اللعب ضمن فريق"، وتابع بابتسامة على وجه "إن المشاركة في هذا المشروع ساعدني على تنظيم وقتي بشكل أفضل بين المدرسة وواجباتي المدرسية، عائلتي أيضاً تدعمني وفخورة بي، حيث يقوموا بشراء بعض الملابس الرياضية لي".
يعيش يوسف مع 5 أخوة وأخوات ووالديه في مخيم خانيونس للاجئين، وبينما تحصل عائلته على مساعدات الأونروا الغذائية على أساس فصلي (ربع سنوي) وتستفيد من خدمات أخرى للأونروا مثل التعليم والصحة، فإن وضعهم الاجتماعي الإقتصادي يبقى صعب، وبالرغم من ذلك، فإن العائلة سعيدة وفخورة بمشاركة ابنهم في مشروع ريال الرياضي والذي يمنحه مساحة آمنة ليمارس الرياضة التي يحبها مع أصدقائه.
وقد بدأ مشروع ريال مدريد في عام 2012 في 15 من أصل 257 مدرسة تابعة للأونروا في مختلف أنحاء قطاع غزة، يستهدف المشروع 580 طالب وطالبة، حيث أن 8 مدارس من الـ15 مدرسة هي مدارس للفتيات و7 مدارس للبنين، وطالما أن المجتمع في غزة لا يشجع الفتيات على لعب كرة القدم في الأماكن، فإن المشاريع الاجتماعية والرياضية التعليمية لديها أثر إيجابي على الطالبات، وتوفر لهم الفرصة للعب كرة القدم في بيئة آمنة ومنفصلة.
ويشرف على مشروع ريال مدريد 15 مدرب ومدربة محترفين من معلمي الرياضة في المدارس ويعملون مع الأطفال مرتين اسبوعياً خلال العام الدراسي.

تواجه الأونروا طلبا متزايدا على خدماتها بسبب زيادة عدد لاجئي فلسطين المسجلين ودرجة هشاشة الأوضاع التي يعيشونها وفقرهم المتفاقم. ويتم تمويل الأونروا بشكل كامل تقريبا من خلال التبرعات الطوعية فيما لم يقم الدعم المالي بمواكبة مستوى النمو في الاحتياجات. ونتيجة لذلك فإن الموازنة البرامجية للأونروا، والتي تعمل على دعم تقديم الخدمات الرئيسة، تعاني من عجز كبير يتوقع أن يصل في عام 2016 إلى 81 مليون دولار. أما برامج الأونروا الطارئة والمشروعات الرئيسة، والتي تعاني أيضا من عجز كبير، فيتم تمويلها عبر بوابات تمويل منفصلة.
تأسست الأونروا كوكالة تابعة للأمم المتحدة بقرار من الجمعية العامة في عام 1949، وتم تفويضها بتقديم المساعدة والحماية لحوالي خمسة ملايين لاجئ من فلسطين مسجلين لديها. وتقتضي مهمتها بتقديم المساعدة للاجئي فلسطين في الأردن وسورية ولبنان وسورية والضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة ليتمكنوا من تحقيق كامل إمكاناتهم في مجال التنمية البشرية وذلك إلى أن يتم التوصل لحل عادل ودائم لمحنتهم. وتشتمل خدمات الأونروا على التعليم والرعاية الصحية والإغاثة والخدمات الاجتماعية والبنية التحتية وتحسين المخيمات والإقراض الصغير.
Football, friendship and team spirit: the Real Madrid sports project in UNRWA schools

Since 2012 UNRWA has implemented the Real Madrid Foundation sports project for football in various UNRWA schools across Gaza. The Real Madrid project is a social and educational sports project aiming at enhancing refugee children's sports skills and team spirit, and providing them with a safe space for recreational activities.
"Our goal is to foster social interaction between children through sport and to provide them with opportunities to fill their free time and create new friendships," explained Jamal Nateel, the sports projects coordinator of the UNRWA Education Programme in Gaza, enthusiastically.
13-year old Yousef Safi who attends the Khan Younis Preparatory Boys C school in southern Gaza has been participating in the Real Madrid project for one year. Besides enjoying training twice a week through the Real Madrid project, he also plays football outside school in a playground near his home in the Khan Younis refugee camp.
"I want to be a famous football player in the future, I want to be a team player; I love to be involved in a team," Yousef said. "Participating in this project helped me to better organize my time between school and homework; my family supports me a lot and is very proud of me. They even buy some sports clothes for me!" he added with a big smile on his face.
Yousef lives with his 5 brothers and sisters and parents in the Khan Younis refugee camp. While the family receives UNRWA food assistance on a quarterly basis and benefits from other UNRWA services such as health and education, their socio-economic situation remains difficult. Even more so the family is happy and proud that their son can participate in the Real Madrid sports project which provides him with a safe space to do what he loves most: playing football with his friends.
The Real Madrid project started in 2012 in 15 of 257 UNRWA schools across Gaza, targeting 580 female and male students. 8 of the 15 schools are girls schools and seven are boys schools. Since in Gaza the community does not encourage girls to play football in public places, social and educational sports projects have a particularly positive impact on female students, providing them with an opportunity to play football in a secure, gender-separated environment.
All students participating in the Real Madrid project are trained by 15 professional female and male sports teachers who work with the children twice a week throughout the school year.
Background Information
UNRWA is confronted with an increased demand for services resulting from a growth in the number of registered Palestine refugees, the extent of their vulnerability and their deepening poverty. UNRWA is funded almost entirely by voluntary contributions and financial support has been outpaced by the growth in needs. As a result, the UNRWA Programme Budget, which supports the delivery of core essential services, operates with a large shortfall, projected for 2016 to stand at US$ 81 million. UNRWA emergency programmes and key projects, also operating with large shortfalls, are funded through separate funding portals.
UNRWA is a United Nations agency established by the General Assembly in 1949 and mandated to provide assistance and protection to some 5 million registered Palestine refugees. Its mission is to help Palestine refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank and the Gaza Strip achieve their full human development potential, pending a just and lasting solution to their plight. UNRWA services encompass education, health care, relief and social services, camp infrastructure and improvement, and microfinance.
